Refund Policy

At PaperSetter, we strive to provide a seamless experience for educators and institutions in exam paper creation. Please review our refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Free Plan Users

Our Free Plan allows users to experience PaperSetter.in with limited features. Since no payment is required, refunds do not apply to Free Plan users.

2. Paid Plans (Teacher, Standard and Premium)

We offer a Paid Plans that grants additional features such as multi-user roles, advanced exam templates, and automated paper generation. Refunds for paid subscriptions are subject to the following terms:

2.1. Subscription Cancellation
  • Users can cancel their subscription anytime, but the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No refunds are issued for partial use of the subscription period.
2.2. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be issued only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate Payment: If a user is charged twice due to a system error.
  • Service Downtime: If PaperSetter application experiences prolonged service unavailability (beyond 7 consecutive days), users may request a pro-rata refund.
  • Technical Issues: If the platform has a major unresolved issue preventing use despite support intervention.
2.3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Incorrect plan selection by the user.
  • Lack of use of the platform.
  • Subscription cancellation in the middle of a billing cycle.

3. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, users must:

  1. Email support@papersetter.in with the transaction details and reason for the refund.
  2. The refund request must be made within 7 days of the original transaction.
  3. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.

4. Changes to the Refund Policy

PaperSetter.in reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or a website announcement.
